Tyson Illingworth (aka tyDi) developed a reputation for being an extraordinary live performer and producer from a young age. A familiar name in Queensland’s subversive dance scene, he has racked up an impressive list of credits – taking the crown in Central Battle for Central Station Records, landing a main room residency at Australia’s top nightclub Family, acquiring gigs at major clubs such as Sydney’s Gas and Home and Darwin’s The Rocks, supporting such heady names as Paul Van Dyk, Jumping Jack and BeXta while performing at the world’s biggest dance festivals, seizing the #1 and #2 spots on the on the Beatports trance charts, debuting at #52 in the coveted DJ Mag Top 100 and releasing his debut album Look Closer – all even before he turned 23.
