Australia’s indie starlets Last Dinosaurs will be coming back to Kuala Lumpur for the second time in half a year to wow you with their tropical beats and overdriven ambient riffs. Answering questions on love, loss, and preservation with their last release, In A Million Years, the boys from Brisbane have several new tracks from their as-yet-untitled next album which they can’t wait to start playing to a live audience. Having drummed up a local pool of support from their energetic set at Urbanscapes last year, we’re sure there will be more added to the fanbase this time around.

Joining them for the second time in Malaysia will be their fellow countrymen, the Dune Rats, who are sure to light up the stage with their highly eccentric brand of garage surf rock meets stoner fuzz pop. Those who were there at FINDARS last year know what we’re talking about, but to the uninitiated? Well, you’ll just have to check them out at the Bee. The esoteric bong-smoking, slut-seducing duo will be on their top form, with their debut full length being released just a few days after their set. If there was ever a band you needed to listen to from the giant landmass right below us, it’s these guys. No way you can’t have a good time while listening to Australian radio staples ‘Red Light, Green Light’ (check out the video for it just for the copious amount of herb involved) and ‘F*ck It’. They will blow your mind.
