Anyone that has access to the internet and the radio has heard of Skrillex but if they haven’t, they might not be real and you may need a therapist because you have an imaginary friend. Sonny (John Moore) is every mainstreamer’s favourite DJ and who could blame them? His hits are consistent – constantly topping one after the other and admit it, it’s pretty damn addictive in a concert environment even to the people that whine about him not making real ‘dubstep’. When he’s not taking Billboard’s charts hostage, the ex-frontman of hardcore band From First to Last is busy playing Jenga using his awards from the Grammy and MTV. If it’s not that, he’s collaborating with Diplo on their latest project Jack Ü — famous for ‘Where Are Ü Now’, which featured The Biebz. So let’s face it, besides Hardwell, Skrillex is probably the DJ Malaysians want to see the most – and we’ve seen Hardwell way too many times (zzz).
