What Went Down: ‘RockCorps Take Back’ Gallery
Supported by RockCorps Malaysia (RCM), Dewan Bandaraya KL, known as DBKL has been running a campaign called “Take Back Your Community (TBYC). The main objective of the campaign is to raise awareness and get as many people to take action in caring for who and what surrounds them.
November turned out to be a big month for TBYC; this campaign spread to numerous neighborhoods surrounding places like Kepong, Cheras, Bukit Bintang, Bandar Tun Razak, Segambut, and heaps more. The community and/or volunteers are then gathered and asked to lend their hands to improve the streets of our city. So they hit the different alleys and walkways to remove illegal stickes, banners, and posters, then repainted the drably walls as well as giving nature a booster, and planted new plants and trees near these areas.
If you’re looking to play your part and give back to our city, check out the official webpage . To check out more of their photos check out the gallery right here!
