What Went Down: Mulberry Fire Pit Party @ Coachella 2012
If hipster fashion were a religion, Emma Hill would be their god and Mulberry would definitely be their temple. Mulberry celebrated the Coachella festival by doing a fire pit, pool side barbeque party and amongst the guests were talented musicians and also A-list celebrities. Many of you would probably like to know what went down and who wore what to the party, so here are the deets!
Held at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs over the weekend of the Coachella festival, the party did not only make a fashion statement but they also brought in some good music for the guests to listen to during the party. Lily Collins from the new movie Mirror Mirror made an appearance at the party wearing a windbreaker with a pebbled beige summer Boucle from the SS12 Catwalk Collection with a pair of woven sandals from Wheat Field. The stunning on the rise actress said that this year was her first year at the Coachella festival and she enjoyed every minute of it!
Kate Bosworth also showed up at the party wearing a panel dress in multi coloured Ditzy Daisy Crushed Cotton from the AW12 main collection matched with a Mulberry sneaker with a black studded leather jacket from the AW12 Main Collection and she also rock another look wearing a mini lily with tassels in an ink blue heavy Suede from the AW12 main collection. But what made heads turn at the party was Emma Watson, looking very hipster chic with her feline printed playsuit from Mulberry upcoming autumn/winter collection. Matched with a vintage hat and an old leather jacket, Emma Watson sure had a good time at the party she co-hosted.
But what is a pool party without music? Yes, hot and dull. But Emma Hill sure did a great job by inviting Kasabian, The Vaccines and Wild Belle to perform at the pool party! All in all, the guests left the party with a smile on their faces, in early anticipation for another awesome Mulberry party at Coachella next year.
