What Went Down: Clive Relaunch Party @ Bakita

The question “what’s a real man?” is pretty hard to answer these days. Many tend to overcompensate with machismo, their knowledge of sports, or worse, their overflowing heterosexuality. But as the new Clive points out, there’s more to being a man than just talking about boobs, and football.
Clive Magazine has grown up, with a new look and a brand new direction. The men’s magazine not only changed its style, it’s now a free magazine available all over the Klang Valley. And to celebrate the new facelift, Clive Magazine threw a relaunch party at Bakita, backed by Dr Martens, and ‘the single malt that started it all’ – The Glenlivet.
The event was hosted by Roshan Narayan, with surprise performances by Diandra Arjunaidi, an acoustic set by Fuad of Kyoto Protocol, and a rousing DJ set by Ruud of Deer Society, with a freeflow of Glenlivet throughout the night being served to the refined ladies and gentlemen in attendance.
Needless to say, our glasses didn’t stay dry for much of the night, but three lucky draw winners walked away with a bottle of Glenlivet to continue enjoying it back home. But we were extra disappointed by the fact that we didn’t win the Dr Martens giveaway.
If you missed the party, no worries, we came back with photos. To get more updates and info on Clive Magazine, check out their Facebook page here.
