Named after its proprietor, Werner is the man behind the porkalicious head to tail joint El Cerdo. Werner’s also on Changkat Bukit Bintang is his latest bar and restaurant foray and this time it’s khinzir-free.

Located on the corner of this sexy stretch, Werner’s defines itself as a “bistronomy”. On the ground level an outdoor section located to the front and side of the refurbished building is perfect for people watching and chilling out. Within is a dark and sexy area for dining and lights are dimmed to create a sexy lounge space. A sprawling bar area is located upstairs and although the balcony has a view of a carpark and high rises, you’ll soon forget about concrete scenery as you get sucked into the relaxing atmosphere. Plush sofas make a good base from which to enjoy Werner’s selection of over 400 wines, which you can pick from within their walk-in wine cellar. Best for a date or a the kind of catch-up that involves conversation, JUICE recommends you grab a seat, order up a glass or one of the bar’s high standard classic cocktails and just take it easy.
