Weezer Live in Singapore
Surely just as yours is, the inner teen in us is screaming at the news of Weezer taking their tour to this part of the world. The iconic and prolific alt rock band has produced a number of hits since their 1994 debut The Blue Album. It spawned ‘Buddy Holiday’, ‘Undone (The Sweater Song)’, and ‘Say It Ain’t So’. But of course, it was Pinkerton that cemented them as nerd rock gods. While over the years since then they have had quite a number of disappointing releases, the band nevertheless grew along with us into full-blown adulthood, and just like us, despite the age, Weezer is still writing songs that relate to the confused, angsty teens of today (see ‘Go Away‘). No matter which album you prefer, or if you’re more of a ‘Best Hits’ person, we’re sure Weezer will please all of you.
