Yesterday, a video of frontliners in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) entertaining a child quarantining at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) Low-Risk Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC) made a huge buzz on social media.
The short clip showed two PKRC personnel showing a video and dancing to the child in an effort to entertain him.
Speaking to The News Strait Times, one of the staff seen in the video, Aysha Khairuddin said that they gotten to know the 2-year-old boy who was quarantined at the centre with his mother and siblings.
Over time, the boy started to become friendlier with them and one day they decided to lighten him up with some entertainment.
“At the time the video was being recorded (by his mother), he had finished drinking milk and was feeling sleepy.
“He was a little shy at first. But when we eventually started dancing to the tune, he eventually followed,” said Aysha.
