Are you tired of the same old clubbing experience? Fret not because Freedom is here and they’re shaking things up to meet your party expectations. For the first time ever, Freedom gives you the power to choose! And to choose from what you might ask? Find out after the jump! It’s a shocker that caught JUICE‘s attention too!

Freedom has already brought down stellar acts from the dance music circuit including Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten and The Thrillseekers. But back in 2009, their reputation suffered at the harsh hands of over-zealous religious-authories hell-bent on turning back the clock to the Stone Age. Yes, the authorities’ impulsive no-booze and/or sexy outfits rule caused quite a stir back then, prompting comparisons to Taliban-era Afghanistan. Same rules, cooler beards…

But that did not stop us from partying! And Freedom looks equally hell-bent on changing the beat too! In fact this time around, Freedom will return with a brand new concept called “Voice Your Choice” where you can vote for which local DJ gets to spin, what you can wear, and even down to whether you want to have free-flow drinks. The whole party experience is now YOUR CALL!

Freedom series will kick off on 9 July in Penang with electro star DJ Sid Vicious (USA). On 15 July, DJ Blink will be joining him in Melaka for the series. Hip hop electro masher DJ Ray Ray (Taiwan) will grace the decks of Freedom’s JB tour on 16 July before the finale hits Kuala Lumpur (23 July) with headliners Dutch DJ-producer Mischa Daniels and DJ Kid Kaio (Japan) spinning alongside locals Lapsap and Fono. No words on the exact venue for now but we will keep you posted.
