It’s been a while since Kain was here on local shores, but that hasn’t proved to be a detriment to his collaborative EP with VMPRMYTH. This first single off their Clairvoyants showcases the duo’s Eastern influences layered over a relatively straight (for the most part) kick-snare pattern, and seems a little more minimalistic compared to their individual exploits – of course, while still maintaining their solo identities on this track. We’ve also got some very traditional Indian dancing in the music video – a nod towards Deepavali from the two, perhaps?
