The US’ presidential primaries for their parties’ nominations to run for presidency began during the first week of February. Like all political events that’s taken place prior to it — GOP debates, campaign runs — the primaries aren’t short of comedy, only this time the biggest joke wasn’t made by the biggest joke (*cough* Trump *cough*) but a news journalist instead. And boy, it was a mistake that will live on for American families to pass down each generation; mispronouncing Bernie Sanders as Bernie Sandwiches. Stephen Colbert took MSNBC’s political commentator Chris Hayes’ mistake as an opportunity to create a skit — a short description, if you will — of Bernie Sanders using only sandwiches. It really is the best thing to watch right after Tori Kelly’s unimpressed facial expression during Taylor Swift’s expected win for Album of the Year at the Grammys. Bitter? Maybe. We’re also hungry.
