VIDEO: The Impatient Sisters’ ‘Hey There Young Sailor’

The Impatient Sisters premiered the music video for ‘Hey There Young Sailor’ (a track from their 2014 self-titled LP) during a gathering at The Bee, Publika yesterday. Directed by Ling Low of Sweet and Low Films, who’s also responsible for OJ Law’s twee ‘Tongue Tied’ MV, the video illustrates a love story between a mermaid named Celine (Ho Lee Ching) and a sailor called Frederick (Alfred Loh), who sends love messages in bottles to her. The sisters, too, appear as the mythical sea creatures in this fairy tale as they guide Celine to her earthbound lover, to which they both eventually momentously meet as these stories usually do.
