1,000 hours, 100 manila folders, 50 X-Acto knives, and an entire bottle of glue — that’s how long it took for artist Luca Iaconi-Stewart to construct a Singapore Airline A380 model from mere Manila cards. The artist had attempted this test of precision and determination before when he did a 1:160 scale of the Boeing 777 model. With this latest attempt, the artist has revealed that the array of seatings that is available on the plane to be a challenge, as they range from premium economy to first class suites that resemble luxurious train carriages. Captured on video by Singapore Airlines, they’ve scaled down the elaborate length of time taken to construct the plane into a time-lapse of one minute.
