IT’S THE SHIP is returning for its second year following the great success it attained in 2014. Naturally, Livescape announced the floating-music festival’s comeback by releasing the official aftermovie of the inaugural edition, which probably triggered many forgotten memories for last year’s attendees — luckily KIX was there to document everyone on their worst behaviour.

Last year, IT’S THE SHIP hosted 2,500 shipmates, including Lil Jon, Chvrches, Sasha Grey, and 30 other international and regional acts for over four days. This year, Livescape is taking it up a notch — or 15 notches, rather — as they’ve booked the Mariner of the Seas, a 15-deck ship equipped with a full-sized basketball court, an ice skating rink for the people that may want solid form of water, 10 pools and whirlpools, and 17 bars, clubs, and lounges to name a few. The four-day adventure commences on 20 November from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, then to the straits of Malacca to duty-free Langkawi, and it ends where it begins. Best get on a ramen-diet soon, you’re going to want to save every cent.
