Condensed in this 15-minute-long video, audiovisual production company Ithaca Audio takes an innovative approach in presenting the history of rock’n’roll in a Facebook format that’s complete with ‘Likes’ and ‘Comments’ from rock musicians based on real-life legends and icons. It starts with the king himself Elvis Presley, then a lot of praise goes to the likes of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and more, but surprisingly no honour for The Beatles (licensing problems maybe?), though there’s plenty of Duran Duran in the video. Aside from the classics, there are also homages to more recent bands such as Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, The White Stripes, The Strokes, etc.
