VIDEO: Blank on Blank Pres. Roger Ebert on Ego

Roger Ebert

Blank on Blank is a YouTube channel that transposes old, forgotten interviews with iconic pop culture figures from actual footage to cartoony animation, making everything much more digestible. The latest episode takes on the late revered film critic Roger Ebert — you know, that guy who originated “two thumbs up!” — where he spoke on a number of subjects that revolved around his most famous field of work — film criticism. In the five-minute video, we get to know how he really felt about films in general, why he thought Say Anything… was an underrated flick, how he went about being tactful with his criticism, and who he thought had the biggest — healthy or sick — ego in the film industry.
