VIDEO: Beirut’s ‘Perth’

Even if Beirut’s fifth album No No No were released seven months ago, attention is still being directed at it with the music video for single ‘Perth’. The instrumentation in the track is enough to perk up a person as it’s led by the light, buoyant keys. And the accompany music video does a great job at translating the mood of ‘Perth’ as it features a person dancing a merry choreography by the sea, or in the cold mountains. Interspersed in clips of dancing, there are plenty presentations of idyllic nature. All in all, it’s good vibes all around, but the video takes a surprising turn towards the end.
