Around the Block (ATB) is a new player in the relatively small arena that is Malaysian media; it aspires to “start a discussion about local artists and their crafts.” One of ATB’s regular segments is its video series entitled ATB with…, which is essentially in-dept interviews with creative individuals regardless of their backgrounds. Most recently, ATB interviewed Kevin Tan of The Oven Cuttery and head chef of Mentega Pomade to discuss his decision to open his own barbershop, how he defines good service, and many others.
