The Mars Volta/At The Drive In’s offshoot band Antemasque seem to be channeling their inner Ramones at their live shows. You could have told us that this grainy grayscale video was over thirty years old, and we’d have believed you. The visceral rawness of the whole production and performance in general isn’t something you see everyday, complete with guitars flying and arms flailing. Are Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala on a charge to bring the spirit of rock back into tiny clubs and small stages? It sure looks like it.
