Renowned for her directorship in beloved indie films like The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, and Marie Antoinette, not to mention her ad campaign stints for international brands like Christian Dior, H&M, and Marc Jacobs, Sofia Coppola collaborates with the iconic American clothing brand GAP for a series of four films that celebrate the uniqueness of family during the Holiday season, and feature GAP’s core fashion values of individualism and liberation that comes from being your most authentic self confidently.

The film series includes Gauntlet, about a young woman arriving home when Thanksgiving is in full swing for her myriad of excited family members; Mistletoe, about a sheepish young man approaching a lady a party, who happens to be standing under the mistletoe; Crooner, showcasing a young boy lip-syncing shamelessly to a classic song in front of his family members; and Pinball, featuring a woman in her 20s playing the pinball game in the only restaurant still open during the Holidays, as her boyfriend watches from the booth.

GAP’s Holiday ’14 collection is now available at all GAP outlets located at Pavilion KL, KLCC, The Gardens, Sunway Pyramid and Paradigm Mall.
