You’d think memes referencing Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ would’ve slowed down by now — it’s coming close to a year since he released the annoyingly catchy anthem for forlorn individuals — but it hasn’t, and nobody is complaining. Take this animation for example, it reflects the song’s lyrics; it features a deeply saddened guy reminiscing a relationship with a girl who no longer calls him on his cellphone because she’s too busy uploading photos of herself with friends he’s never seen before (you know, like in the lyrics). Her Instagram handle is ‘thickathanasnicka’, which is very Drizzy since he likes his girls BBW. It’s also narrated by Bryan Cranston, who we’re nominating as the go-to person for satirical voiceovers of songs or stories with a melancholy theme behind it because he kills this one.
