Continuing their collaboration, our favourite sneaker brand Vans and famed British design duo Eley Kishimoto have released a mini Holiday collection that will be the second instalment of the ‘Living Art’ collection. The husband and wife team — Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto — abides by their mantra to ‘Print the World’, and looking through their quirky, loud patterns, they certainly have the adept skills to achieve their goal.
The Vanx x Eley Kishimoto holiday collection — exclusively for women — will reintroduce two prints from the designers’ archive, namely the abstract, tri-coloured Cubic Molecules and the playful Sourpuss cat that have been reinterpreted in edgy, geometric shapes that lend the feline caricatures a jittery movement—how cute. The Cubic Molecules envelops the Classic Slip-On whereas the Sourpuss covers the Sk8-Hi Slim Zip and the Authentic silhouette.
