VANS’ Go Skateboarding Day returns for its fifth year and yes, they took Ramadan into consideration thus the event will be held after iftar. This year, not only will skating be the agenda but carpentry skills will be put to the test too. A ‘DIY Skate Ramp’ building competition is in the works as we type this; three participating teams (Bukit Kiara Crew, Shah Alam Crew, and PCP Crew) are in the midst of creating their own skate ramps which will be ready by this weekend for the skaters’ use. We’re unsure as to what the winners will get at the time of this writing but we do hope that all the ramps are safe. Head over this weekend for some good music, food, drinks, and skating… or watching people skate, rather.
