TOMS is Finally in Malaysia!

You’ve seen their charitable endeavours around the world, and you’ve heard about the story behind the brand. Now, Malaysians can make a socially conscious choice and give back while shopping over at the inaugural TOMS store located at Pavilion KL.

TOMS, which is an abbreviation for “Tomorrow’s Shoes”, is renowned for their One for One business model, one that helps a person in need somewhere around the world with every purchase made at a TOMS store; a pair of TOMS shoes bought will give a child in need their own pair of TOMS shoes, and a pair of TOMS eyewear purchased, TOMS will restore the sight of a person in need. To date, TOMS and Friends of TOMS have given over 35 million pairs of new shoes to children living in more than 70 poverty-stricken countries, and has helped over 25,000 people in 13 countries, whom once were blind, can now see.

TOMS all vegan shoe collections are available for the ladies, men and even the little ones, with retailing price tags starting from RM139 for TOMS Youth & Tiny, and from RM189 for the adults. The TOMS eyewear collection are available for both men and women, and retails from RM399.

Stop by the store this Saturday September 6, from 10:30am till 7pm for TOMS’ Style Your Sole event in conjunction with the public store launch at Pavilion KL. Customers who purchase a pair of blank TOMS at the event will be able to have their shoes customised by three local artists – Thinking with Ink founder and artist Melanie Bayoud, renowned graffiti artist Katun, and illustrator and #artforlife teacher Nini Marini.

Not only that, patrons can also find out more about TOMS’ ‘I AM TOM’ Campaign that encourages TOMS followers to find ways to build a better tomorrow through volunteering, recycling, awareness building and the likes.

The inaugural TOMS store in Malaysia is located at Level 5, Lot 5.04.00, Pavilion KL.
