Three men and a watering hole….
Run by not three but two jolly chaps, this young pub-and-grub sits along the same stretch of TTDI’s Rahim Kajai as Sid’s Pub and Deutsches Gasthaus. That’s some pretty intense competition. The ambience is laid back and relaxed and music is secondary; at TDH you won’t have to oblige live performances, conversation is king. And for a pub that pulls a mean pint, TDH makes great cocktails as well – the bartenders are all award-winning mixologists. The service is just as top notch too, and the staff is always in good spirits and greets you like Italians at Christmas. It all adds up to a real neighbourhood charm that draws even non-locals to its grounds.

Drinks TDH’s infamous Birthday Board (RM98) has been known to topple many – four shots of your choice and a Flaming Martini. Also try the Tokyo Ice-T (RM22), Vodkachino (RM22) and Ultimate Mudslide Martini (RM22). For the ambitious and optimistic, get a personal barrel of Hoegaarden for RM1000.

Eats Non-halal. The kitchen cooks up succulent digs to match your drink. Try Dick’s Favourite Steak (RM30), the gigantic Pork Knuckle (RM70) and sinful Fried Mars & Snickers Bars. Their weekend Big Breakfast is the talk of the town; RM15 includes eggs of your choice on toast, bacon, sausages, hash brown, baked beans and grilled tomato. Big!

Dress code Whatever you’re wearing, as long as it doesn’t contravene any civil laws, the bartender will fix you a drink.

Door policy Free and easy.

Parking Free around the block, but come late and you’ll have to circle round the block to find an empty spot.
