Time to Lace Up!

It’s time to lace up your running shoes and join the Nike City 10K Kuala Lumpur race challenge! This race is presented by Nike Malaysia to celebrate the sport of running and also to provide an opportunity for Malaysians to showcase our passion for running and fitness. Nike City 10K Kuala Lumpur will hit the ground on the 10th of October, where young runners will be racing through the streets of KL in the bid to become the athlete champions of the city. Nike Malaysia is targeting to have 10,000 runners, with more than 6000 runners in the Under 25 Category. Nike is committed to growing the young running community in Malaysia and all of us here at JUICE are all for it! The Nike City 10K race will be hosted by an astounding 22 countries around the world, with Malaysia and Singapore representing South East Asia.

From now until the 31st of October, KL and Singapore runners will be in a race to see who can clock up more kilometres for their city. With the use of Nike+ Sportband, this will hopefully spur our runners for a chance to win USD30,000 for local charity Hope Malaysia, that aims to promote health, education, helping children and promoting volunteerism. Singaporean runners will be competing to donate to the Singapore Children’s Society.
