In about 2 weeks time, the dancers from Thrill The World Shah Alam will be dancing in sync to MJ’s infamous hit single ‘Thriller’. On the Sunday of 25 October, Thrill The World Shah Alam hope to create a world record for the world’s largest simultaneous ‘Thriller’ dance and do good with a fund raising for charity at the same time. They want you to join in to make this larger than life!
Malaysia’s bid is y no means the 1st Thrill The World event as it was started by Ines Markelle in Toronto with 62 dancers, landing it the honour of being the 1st recorded ‘Largest Thriller Dance’. By 2007, the number went up to 1722 people at 52 cities and in 2008, it was a in 72 cities with 4179 people!
MJ’s Dance Tribute weekly workshops are opened to all, and happens on Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 6pm at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam.
