This New Alley at TREC is the Next Instagram Spot of KL

(source: Alley Street Transformation FB)

Our favourite party hub, TREC KL is undergoing a sweet makeover at their alley block and we are in love with the transformation so far. Forget about taking Instagram shots in the club or bar where you can’t see anything (let’s be real), now you can just head over to the alley and elevate your squad picture game with the Asian themed street art.

The new pieces will be showcased across four large wall panels, alongside a treehouse to be built for stage live performances. Plus, no more walking in the rain and getting your makeup all ruined as TREC has also constructed a canopy over the street from across adjoining blocks of Alley and Terraces.

The street will also feature a bohemian vibe by artist-in-charge Idris Johor, who previously created the murals at Haji Lane, Singapore. All’s good as the alley merges with the street below where all the F&B brands and street events are usually held.

Idris’ team, which includes Hizbullah Firdaus, Amir Andhar Abu Samah, Saiful Bahrin Rashid, and Mohd Nadzy, have started work since end-October. JUICE have been informed that patrons will be able to see the final touches by the end of this week. Take a look at some of the pieces down below:

Aside from taking club culture one step closer to ‘gram culture, it’s nice to see KL raising its aesthetics game. See you guys there soon, then?
