Nothing to do on Malaysia Day tomorrow? You should join in to celebrate the launch of The Wknd Store, which is The Wknd Sessions’ independent record store. The party will host performances by alt pop musician Orang, queer punk band Shh…Diam!, and a solo acoustic set by Hadi Jaafar of rock band Laila’s Lounge, who’s recently resurfaced after years of inactivity. Aside from that, there will be a reading by poet and writer Sheena Baharudin of her book Rhymes of a Mending Heart and one that’s yet to be released. Co-founder and creative manager of Project Rabak, Seyn Jukey, is expected to hold an avant-garde performance. Like a true celebration, there will be an after party at 9pm over at Minut Init where Yohan and Rivers will be on deck duty.

Bring your friends and cash to buy some releases from the best talents in the Southeast Asian region!
