The Trailer for Game of Thrones’ Final Season is Here.. Be Prepared for a Lot of Deaths
It’s finally here, guys and gals. HBO just dropped the official trailer for the 8th and final season of Game Of Thrones, that may require us to prepare for a lot of deaths.
The Emmy-winning series that loves killing key characters hasn’t been following the book that much since last season. Rumours are that the show runners have full autonomy and can retell the story however they feel wight. We don’t know about you, but we’re not prepared to see anyone die anymore…
If you caught the last episode of season 7 which aired 100 years ago (that’s how long it feels), at the end, the Night King managed to kill one of Daenerys’ children and turn a dragon into a White Walker to fly into the night sky looking like an ’80s metal band album cover.
The Wall that Jon Snow and his band of Night Watchers swore to protect can now be destroy because, well, the Night King has a fire-breathing zombie dragon as a pet now. The final episode of season 7 teased a big war, and this trailer shows that winter is returning once more… in all its icy fury.
What’s exciting is that we get to see all seven kingdoms, who have been killing each other since season 1, forced to work together for survival. Judging from the trailer, season 8 could be an epic ending to an epic series.
Hey, it’s got zombies, dragons and sex. What else do you want?
Game of Thrones Season 8 will debut in Asia the same time as the U.S. on Monday, 15 April at 9am with a same day encore at 10pm, exclusively on HBO.
