The Saturday night funk at Elysium doesn’t end with house legend Joey Negro – upstairs, Art Xtreme Media will continue celebrating their one-year anniversary with four-time Beatport Top 10 artiste James Trystan. His collaborative effort with studio partner Rory Gallagher, the moody and synth-y house opus ‘Walking Giants’ (via Bedrock), has been a playlist mainstay for Bedrock founder John Digweed for some time. That synth-driven vibe, and his tour across Asia, has contributed to the South Londoner’s newly minted and reinvigorated sound, one that has seen major labels approaching him for remixes of well-known acts such as The Klaxons, Ghost Beach, and Fenech-Soler. The night will also see Joey G, Click 2 Klick, and a B2B set by Obadius and Otherkind.
