Today, Roxy Malaysia was proud to announce Ms. Natasha Seatter as the new face for their brand in Malaysia at the prize-giving ceremony of the Roxy contest Let The Sea Set You Free. She will be representing Malaysia to compete in the global level of the contest with the other 74 finalists around the world, for a chance to win the Grand Prize of a trip to Biarritz, France, meeting with the Roxy pro athletes, receiving up to USD$5,000 and becoming the face and voice of Roxy.

Born in Miri, Sarawak, Natasha is a Malaysian Racing driver. At 19, she has been opening doors for Malaysian youths and race car drivers since her debut in 2005 as a junior member of the Klub Kart Selangor. By competing in the local and international championships, she developed a commendable reputation. In 2008, she was placed second in the Yamaha SL Cup Malaysia Series and fourth in the Asian Karting Open Championship.

In 2010, Natasha became the first female Malaysian racer in the Formula BMW Asia Pacific Series after completing the race as a rookie. Come January 2011, she was the youngest and only female driver to have been tested and approved by former F1 champions and the lotus F1 development driver to command the new Lotus T125 at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi. By August that year, a local newspaper named her Asia’s fastest female formula driver after her first podium win in Formula Pilota China series in Ordos, China. Natasha made history in February this year when she became the first female ever to win a race in the United Arab Emirates.

Out of 135 entries received, the Malaysian level of the Roxy contest had shortlisted 17 girls and as the winner of the contest, Natasha has won herself a holiday trip to Bali, Roxy wardrobe worth RM2,000, Samsung Galaxy Nexus worth RM2,099 from U Mobile and a make-up course worth RM1,800 from Snips College of Creative Arts. Besides that, the Top 5 consolation prize winners, which includes Cheryl Ho (19) and Nabila Nishaa (25), each received a Roxy wardrobe worth RM500 and a HTC Desire S worth RM1,599 from U Mobile. Five other contestants, including Yap Sher Lynn (18) and Syafinaz Ruslan (22), were the The People’s Favourites and the each received a Roxy wardrobe worth RM500 and a Roxy watch worth RM499 from AD Time.
