No, this isn’t a post about Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian, it’s about good tunes coming to us straight from the Shire. The Kiwi band, The Naked and Famous, are making waves hitting shores other than their own and we’re picking up what they’re putting down…
The Naked and Famous have already claimed a BBC win for the Sounds of 2011,and what 2011 sounds like is dreamy indie-disco, with a heavier hand on the indie than their Australian counterparts like Miami Horror or Bag Raiders, but still catching the dreamy melodies and synth with rocking, indie anthems. While they may not be naked or famous, that’s all likely to change, well at least the famous part.
