In an area more known for its claypot chicken rice, The Library is a sight for sore eyes. Beautifully designed with a more relaxed vibe – you are in the suburbs, after all – the latest instalment of Library, offers live music and the same great beer promos and the largest selection of draught beer you’ve come to love at The Library’s Mid Valley and Curve branches, including their notorious beer tower. Find a quiet corner inside or brave the elements on the terrace or sidewalk seating, and say hello to Puchong!

Music policy On Thursday through Saturday live bands perform Top 40 and Cantonese and Mandarin covers.

Drinks Bottled beers include Carlsberg Profile Bottle, Skol, Tetley’s, Asahi Superdry, Budweiser, Cascade Lager, Hoegaarden, Leffe, Franziskaner Hefe-Weisbier Hell, Savanna Dry Premium Cider, Grolsch, San Miguel and Paulaner Wheat (RM20-RM36); as well as Trappist Beer, La Trappe (RM30-RM48). Try their signature Mother Of All Martinis (RM98) cocktail, served in a gargantuan martini glass.

Happy hours Mon-Sun: 6pm-10pm staggered Happy Hours for different beers. Check with the staff for details.

Eats If you’ve got the hungers, hit the Bangers & Mash, Mac N Cheese, Stuffed Chicken Valentino or the Steak N Guinness Pie.

Parking Illegal parking on IOI Boulevard is a major bug bear resulting in irate drivers and traffic jams. Better to park within IOI Mall. Mon-Fri: RM1 for the 1st 3 hours, 50sen for every subsequent hour; Sat, Sun & public holidays RM2 for the 1st 3 hours, RM1 for every subsequent hour. Just be sure to have exact change.
