3rd time lucky is what The Federated are! After 3 years of trying to conquer the Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB), the local funky punk metal band have took the title and are now on their way to duke it out at the world final in London on 13 December.

The Federated who placed 2nd last year beat out 11 other finalists who played everything from punk, ska, reggae, heavy metal to pop and rock. They took the lead over alternative band Kyoto Protocol who came 2nd and rock band Hyper Act who took 3rd place.

The final round took place at Titanium Super Dance Club in Petaling Jaya on 14 November. Go on make us proud, boys! It’s time to kick some global arse now!
