If you want stripped bare, old school hip hop, this 10-song EP is a must. Bake Sale might sound like a stripped down NERD album, were it not for the inclusion of the pile driving mid-80s 808 drum beats that sets this Chicago/Detroit duo apart. Admittedly their incessant banter surrounding how fly they are, their rad haircuts and other braggadocios comments come close to becoming tiresome, thankfully clocking it at around 30 minutes it lands on just the right side of cool to be acceptable.
