TAPS Beer Bar has the best drinking experience to offer for all non-beer and beer enthusiasts. Equipped with 14 taps and over 40 choices of beer to choose from around the world; Australia, England, Scotland, Denmark, Norway, we’re positive that you’ll be able to find something to your tastebuds fancy. If you aren’t  familiar with beer and its ingredients, don’t hesitate to ask the staff for their help. Give them your preferences  – sweet, fruity, bitter and they’ll recommend you a few to try. They have a promotion to help you with that too; 3 beers on tap for RM30++. Either you or the bartender (if you’re not confident to choose yourself) picks 3 beers that’ll be served in a glass with similar sizing of a whisky glass. They serve a generous amount, we think and it’s also a great way to help you familiarize yourself with taste you like and dislike. The atmosphere isn’t like usual bars. Their space is open air so you needn’t worry about being suffocated by smoke. Music does get played in the background but it isn’t loud, so you can have conversations with friends without waking the dead. However, like all great things; nothing lasts forever. Their beverage selection isn’t permanent and this is due to wanting to give their customers new taste, so once stock of a particular beer is completely sold out, they order something different. Enjoy it while you can! So they’ve got the drinks right, the interior is comfortable, what about food? You have option of typical bar food choices like chicken wings, small pizzas to share or main course meals such as char kuey teow and pasta. CLIENTELE Anyone that enjoys having a beer, eating and talking to friends. Narrows the list down by a mile.

DRINKS Personal recommendation – Trashy Blonde, Punk IPA, Skull Splitter, Chocolate but as we emphasised above, it really depends on your taste buds. There is also iced lemon tea, fruit juices and canned drinks for customers that don’t want to drink beer. There are no cocktails.

EATS Choices of bites, tapas, main course and desserts. Priced from RM10 to RM20.

MUSIC POLICY Relaxing stuff. It goes from indie to 90’s alternative and some classics. TAPS is currently working on having veteran musicians perform acoustic sets. It won’t be anything noisy, that’s for sure.

DRESS CODE Smart casual – no slippers, tank tops or shorts.

PARKING It’s located at One Residency so there’s plenty of space for parking. After 6PM, it’s priced at RM3.
