Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing Has Passed Away at 75 Years Old
Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, popularly known as the founder of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has passed away at age 75. The university announced the news about his death in a statement this afternoon but did not provide further details.
“With deep sadness, we convey the passing of Lim Kok Wing, our founder president.
“A visionary, his career has been synonymous with creativity, and he assisted in developing innovative education globally, empowering especially the developing world.
“We are humbled by the loving condolences and support extended by so many, and ask for privacy as we mourn a man we are very proud of,” the university said.
Other news outlets reported that Lim died this morning at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur while receiving his treatment. Last week, it was reported that he was hospitalised after a fall in his house but was in stable condition.
