A short history lesson doesn’t kill anybody unless the text book that’s being used to teach has been rewritten. In that case, run to the hills, run for your life! Though we doubt that’d be the situation during this talk with two researchers named Mariana Isa and Maganjeet Kaur whom are prepared to share stories behind the names of the streets around Sentul. The two speakers have also published a book entitled ‘KL Street Names’ which will be for sale — all the proceeds made from the book and F&B sales will be donated to Dignity — an organisation that funds education programmes for underprivileged and migrant children within Sentul.
