If you’re sitting at home tonight crying “take me out”, here’s something that might cheer you up. Franz Ferdinand’s spellbinding gig at the recent MTV Winter Valencia (that’s in Spain for Geography flunkies) will be telecast on MTV Asia midnight tonight (Friday night/Saturday morning) 28 March 2009.

Coming hot off their new nocturnally-themed album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, the Glasgow dance rock phenomenon mesmerised an audience of over 38,000 with hits including ‘Ulysses’, ‘The Dark of the Matineé’, ‘Take Me Out’, ‘No You Girls’ and ‘This Fire’.

Closing an unbelievable night of spectacular music, Franz Ferdinand drove the audience to a euphoric frenzy with ‘Buenas Noches Valencia. Somos Franz Ferdinand’ (‘Good Night Valencia, we are Franz Ferdinand’ in Spanish).

Get a front row seat experience and catch them in high definition on MTV World Stage. Coming up on April 3 – Nashville cowpunkers Kings of Leon and grimy jazz diva Amy Winehouse at Ireland’s Oxegen festival.
