How many of us grew up having dreams of starring in a movie? And not just any movie either, a superhero movie! For local actor and influencer, Sean Lee, those dreams are now a reality.
Alongside an A-List cast, featuring names like Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Hart, and John Krasinski, Sean will be voicing the Boston Terrier named Waffles in the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures movie Superpets.
In a press release, Sean said that he is blessed that his childhood dream of voicing a character in an animated film came true, and is honoured to represent Malaysia in a special edit of an international film.
You may recognise Sean from his roles in local drama series such as The Hotel, Romantika 4 Hari 3 Malam and Jujurlah Nikahi Aku.

The content creator even devised a backstory for his character, saying that Waffles is actually from Subang Jaya and his owner moved to Metropolis to be an expatriate. Sounds about right, with Sean being a budak Subang himself.
It is the first time Warner Bros. has chosen a Malaysian cast member for a role that has been specifically tailored to the actor.
The movie follows Kypto, a loyal furry companion to Superman, where he has his own set of super powers and fights crime alongside his person in the city of Metropolis.
However, the duo is separated when Superman and his league are kidnapped, and Krypto has to round up a bunch of other pets with their newfound powers for a rescue mission.
