This edgy freelance choreographer and coordinator for fashion shows and events has been seen around town, partying it up with the best. Her one-of-a-kind style makes her a stylish force to be reckoned with, a real personality behind some of the best shows there are on Malaysian catwalks.

I get up every morning for…
Fun. I just want to have fun in life. Life’s too short to be sad or miserable. That’s why I went into freelancing – so I can have more control over my time.

I do what I do because…
I need money? (Laughs) I also love my job.

If there’s one thing that sets me apart it’s…
My ability to handle difficult clients and difficult models. Now models know me and I now them so it’s easier, but sometimes foreign models don’t speak English and it can get frustrating. There’s nothing you can do but go with the flow.

I take inspiration from people (winners) like…
No one from my industry actually. I want to be the first ‘me’ in the industry. That’s what motivates me. I don’t want to follow anyoneelse, I want to be original and unique. I don’t really plan anything in advance. The setup, the stage inspires me. i decide on choreography on the spot. I think that helps me to be creative and think out of the box.

Winning to me means…
Satisfaction when you hear people clapping and cheering after a show, and feeling that pride in your work when you hear people say it’s a good show.

It isn’t hard to stay on top,
Work hard, party hard. You must have fun in what you do. You must love your job or you can’t handle difficult days. Also when you love your job, you’ll give it 100%. That’s when you become successful.
