Synth duo Stellar Dreams has just dropped new single ‘Infinity’, the first track off their forthcoming debut full album Transference. With an apropos Bruce Catton quote opening its lyric video and picturesque timelapse footage of the night skies plus the aurora borealis by Nicholas Burtos and Francis So, we could surmise that their Hans Zimmer-inspired EP left a lasting impression on their musical trajectory. Here, gone are the neon-noir of late night drives through the city that coloured their initial releases, instead replaced by the spiritual sci-fi underpinnings of movies like Interstellar and recently, Arrival. Frequent contributor Sophie adds not only just vocal work, but the words that give heftiness to the whole proceeding as well.
