South African born Jean-Philip Grobler aka St. Lucia is no stranger to creating awesome electronic pop music. His track ‘September’ from his latest EP of the same name epitomises his knack behind the electronic breed of pop.

The song parades something more energetic than his usual tracks, blending in an adequate amount of rhythmic bass and synthesizers. The song kicks off with a dynamic ‘80s new wave feel, followed by synths, which then eventually leads up to Jean’s fantastic falsetto.

Then slowly morphing into a more subtle sound, but still emphasising the vocals that have turned somewhat hypnotic, oscillating in the background. Climbing back up to its zestful, tribal-like beats, the song ends with a bang – no matter what month it is.
