For a white family, the Simpsons are cool. So what’s up with the image above? Africa’s digital satellite TV service DStv is launching The Simpsons animated series on Bué channel in Angola. The channel’s  ad agency Executive Center in Luanda, Angola decided to put a little twist on this all-American family from Springfield with this original shot.

This illustration was made possible by Goncalo Lopes and was published in April this year. Wonder if Matt Groening and Fox are down with this legendary TV cartoon family’s er, suntan. But man, Bart, Maggie and Lisa do got dope hairdos. Love the massive speakers at the sides too.
