Sheila On 7 Returns To KL To Headline Latihan Pestapora Phase 2

You might want to sit down—or better yet, start stretching—because Latihan Pestapora Malaysia just levelled up.

What was already shaping up to be a massive debut now looks like a full-blown cultural takeover. Mark your calendars: 26 July 2025, Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil. Yes, the biggest stadium in the country. Yes, that Sheila On 7.

The legendary Indonesian rock band, beloved across generations, breakup playlists, and road trip anthems, will finally make their return to Malaysian shores in what promises to be a nostalgia-laced, scream-your-lungs-out kind of night.

And they’re not coming alone. Joining the Phase 2 lineup are ethereal songstress Nadin Amizah and electronic maestro ALVN, rounding out a musical spread as rich as your ex’s apology text.

The venue upgrade is also a major flex. Demand after the Phase 1 announcement was off the charts, with fans scooping up tickets before even knowing the full lineup. With Stadium Nasional in play, even more fans can jump into this celebratory fever dream of a festival.

“Sheila On 7 isn’t just a band. They’re the soundtrack to your youth, your heartbreak, and your best karaoke moments,” says Hitman Group’s founder and CEO, Rohit Rampal. “This isn’t just another concert. It’s a cultural milestone. And with Stadium Nasional, we’re ready to make history.”

Kiki Ucup, Festival Director of Pestapora and co-founder of Boss Creator, echoes the sentiment: “Pestapora has always been about music and community. Now we’re bringing that spirit to Malaysia, with love, chaos, and unity. It’s about two nations vibing under one giant roof.”

If you’re unfamiliar, Pestapora is Jakarta’s genre-smashing, heart-thumping festival that’s basically the Glastonbury of the archipelago. This Malaysian edition is curated by the OG team—Hitman Solutions and Boss Creator—who know a thing or two about crafting festival magic that bridges borders and beats.

And that’s just the Phase 2 news. The Phase 1 lineup is already bursting at the seams with names like .Feast, Hindia, Pamungkas, Feel Koplo, Bittersweet, DOLLA, and more.
