And just like the budding musicians who have signed up to be official testers of the D1 microphone and instrument kits and free themselves of cables to unleash their creative potential, so too have the seasoned performers of the legendary Vans Warped Tour.

Joining bands from around the globe on the 2015 edition of the alternative music festival, Sennheiser hit the road with bands like Blessthefall and New Years Day, speaking with performers, trusted roadies, and the festival’s audio engineers to see how the D1 matched up with their arduous touring requirements and crucial delivery of sound. Needless to say, in the passionate and, at times, chaotic displays of showmanship that take place on stage, the D1 ticked all the boxes with its fuss-free set-up, unrestricted movement, and authentic digital sound transmission.

And it’s not just the head-banging pros that have enjoyed putting the D1 to the test; musicians and audio enthusiasts from around the world have been giving their testaments to the system’s capabilities in both written and video reviews.
