Samba Down to Adidas Originals x JD Sports’ Pop-up Event at Pavilion Bukit Bintang

Stylish and sporty all at once, Adidas and JD Sports have come together for an all-new pop-up event in Kuala Lumpur. It will take place from September 6 to 17 at Pavilion Bukit Bintang, in the heart of the city’s luxury and fashion district.

Among the festivities attendees can expect is the giant Adidas shoe box right at the fountain entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The iconic blue Adidas shoe box has been blown up into a two-storey structure.

Inside you will find an exhibition focusing on the evolution of Adidas sneakers, with the Samba and Gazelle silhouettes getting a special highlight this time around. Fans can have a tour and learn about the history and heritage that made these sneakers so iconic.

On the second floor, there’s also an interactive quiz game where you can test your knowledge on all things Adidas and JD Sports. Answer just four out of eight questions correctly and you’ll receive a RM30 JD Sports gift card that can be used at the nearby JD Sports Pavilion store!

As you make your way to the JD Sports Pavilion store (and if you were also wondering if there was a giant shoe to go with the shoebox), you will be greeted by a gigantic Samba shoe right by the entrance of Pavilion Elite. 

All this was to celebrate the release of the Cloud White and Core Black colourways for the Adidas Samba, available in both men’s and women’s sizes. The Adidas Gazelle is also available in black, red, and other colourways.
