M’sians Can Finally Experience Sacra Music Fes. in February 2024

Malaysian fans of Jujutsu Kaisen rejoiced when a beloved character mentioned that his favourite destination was Kuantan of all places. But before you go jet-setting to Pahang for your next trip, how about experiencing the anime’s theme song live in concert?

Fans of anime theme songs will be delighted to know that a dedicated anime music festival will be coming to Malaysia on 3 February 2024. Presented by Sacra Music, a label under Sony Music Entertainment Japan, the festival will take place at Zepp KL. 

This event promises an immersive experience, featuring performances by FLOW, ASCA, spira spica, Who-ya extended, and Akase Akari. These artists are behind the songs of beloved anime such as Naruto Shippuden, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Fate/Apocrypha.

Established in April 2017, Sacra Music is the anime song label subsidiary of Sony Music Labels, dedicated to promoting leading Japanese artists worldwide. Prominent Japanese artists under the label include FLOW, LiSA, Aimer, ClariS, and EGOIST.

For the uninitiated, Sacra Music Fes. is an event organized by Sacra Music that began in Japan in 2019. Since 2022, the festival has expanded its reach globally, hosting successful editions in various countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and beyond.

The headliner of Sacra Music Fes. is definitely FLOW, which Naruto fans would recognise from their iconic tracks ‘GO’ and ‘COLORS’. Their other Naruto theme, ‘Sign’ has reached over 100 million streams online, a go-to song for ninja enthusiasts worldwide. 

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen can look forward to Who-ya Extended, the live band led by solo artist Who-ya. They dominated the Japanese charts and cemented their success in 2021 with ‘VIVID VICE’ for Jujutsu Kaisen, exceeding 50 million streams online.
